The Shape of Sound, by Maria Luisa D’Eboli
Eight large-format canvases in which painter Maria Luisa D'Eboli portrayed the sound of the instruments of eight musicians. Adriana Ferreira inspired one of the works by performing Syrinx by Claude Debussy, resulting in a canvas bearing her name. The piece was first exhibited as part of the collection The Shape of Sound in Matera (Italy) — European Capital of Culture in 2019.
